Indigenous Plant Medicine Workshop
November 1st, 20213:00 PM ESTFour Directions Indigenous Student CentreQSDP, CUCOH, and QNSA collaborated to host an Indigenous Plant Medicine Workshop! Attendees joined Danka and Candace to learn more about traditional plants and Indigenous ways of knowing. Dr. Vincent Ziffle from the First Nations University of Canada presented the chemistry behind various medicinal plants. Attendees worked together to learn about local plants important to Indigenous communities in Kingston through a scavenger hunt and the creation of land-based art!
